Subway Testing Pretzel Rolls and Local Pennsylvanian Mustard

Subway is selling new Artisan Pretzel Roll Sandwiches out in Central Pennsylvania, featuring a round pretzel bun as well as local Herlocher's Dipping Mustard.

The shape is a marked departure from the signature oblong footlong bread that the chain is known for. Additionally, the sandwiches contain 50% percent more meat when compared to Subway's standard 6-inch sub.

There are two varieties of Artisan Pretzel Roll Sandwiches being offered: the Ham Pretzel Melt and the Turkey Pretzel Melt. As usual, you can pick your choice of cheese and veggies.

The new sandwiches are being offered for a limited time only and also seem to be a nod to the area's German roots. Herlocher's Dipping Mustard, while available nationally, also has its roots (and headquarters) in Pennsylvania.
