The 9-to-13 pound birds are marinated with a blend of Louisiana seasonings, slow-roasted, and then flash-fried for a crispy coating.
In case you're wondering, these are heat-and-serve turkeys and come with instructions to do so.
Last I checked, my local Popeyes restaurant offers them for $39.99.
Popeyes' Cajun Style Turkeys are available at participating restaurants through December while supplies last. Participating locations are denoted with a "Cajun Turkey" icon on Popeyes' online locator.

Hasn't Wendy's figured it out that they don't NEED another pricey burger? There so called value menu is already gotten very pricey.
ReplyDeleteI tried this- it was delicious, and prepared perfectly, but those were the thinnest, saddest patties I have ever seen in my life!! Keep in mind I've worked at McDonald's AND Burger King. Definitely not worth the $8.09 for a combo.....
ReplyDeleteBob, Wendy's isn't trying to be cheapest, they trying to be '' The Better Burger'' Fast Food that's a value vs the Panera-types.
ReplyDeleteI think they should work on "better service" before tackling "better burger"...
