The new pizza is topped with a non-dairy soy-based "cheese" and vegetables such as olives, tomatoes, spinach, and eggplant.
The pizza is offered for 69.90 shekels each (~$19.94 US) or discounted to 54.90 shekels (~$15.66 US) each when two pizzas are purchased.
The move is at least partially attributed to a Facebook campaign by Israeli vegan group, Vegan Friendly.
Should the pizza be well received, it's possible it might expand to other markets such as the US, where there might be a demand for vegan pizza.
