As the name suggests, the Double Decker features a hand-tossed Stuffed Crust pizza with a smaller thin-crust pizza stacked on top of it.
The top layer is a thin-crust pizza (they call it a "tortilla" but I'm not so sure) topped with turkey ham rolled with Edam cheese and tomatoes and zucchini slices, finished with a drizzle of tangy mango mayo.
On the bottom is a hand-tossed, stuffed crust pizza topped with chicken pepperoni and red and green bell peppers (and the other pizza of course).
The price for Pizza Hut's Double Decker Pizza comes in at $25.90 SG (~$20.63 US) for a 10" pizza and $32.60 SG (~$25.96 US) for a 13" pizza.
The concept isn't actually new though, Pizza Hut offered a similar pizza last year in Hong Kong and back in the early 2000s, Domino's offered the Double Melt, which was two thin-crusts sandwiching a layer of cheese.
Thank you for the kind words.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, if you eat in the car it tends to start smelling like food. I managed to keep my car smelling new for like a year by not eating in it (and stopping all my friends from doing so)!
Nerd!
ReplyDeletedarn it, that's an animated gif; I guess that doesn't work with disqus. I'll try some html:
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way; I don't eat in my car (or allow anyone else to)... drinks are ok (if they have lids), but not food.
ReplyDeleteAs for the cake sundae... looks decent, but I would probably just get the holiday mint shake instead; the quality of the "cake" portion of the sundae doesn't really seem worth the price.
Hahaha!
