A 28.5-fl oz container was $3.99.
The mascarpone gelato was tasty with the proper creamy, slightly eggy taste. It's fairly dense and smooth, but has a slight elastic quality to it; like they went overboard with the gum. It's not a dealbreaker but needs to be noted. The espresso sauce had almost the same texture but with a bittersweet coffee flavor and was layered on top.
The ladyfinger cookies pieces are at the very bottom of the container:
There's quite a bit of gelato to dig through to get to it.
Rather than espresso- or coffee liqueur-soaked soggy sponginess, the ladyfinger pieces are more like coffee-infused, crumbly, cookie pie crust pieces. I'm not sure how spongy ladyfingers would freeze but I like the choice; it added an extra texture that you can grab when (or if) you choose.
Overall, I liked the flavor and most of the various textures of Breyers Tiramisu Gelato Indulgences. I especially liked that, due to it being layered, you could pick and choose what you get in each bite.
