News: Dunkin' Donuts Announces the First Five Traditional Locations in California

Dunkin' Donuts recently announced the planned locations of the first traditional Dunkin' restaurants in California. Permits have been acquired for locations in the cities of Downey, Long Beach, Modesto, Santa Monica, and Whittier with construction scheduled to begin this month.

The company has signed off on store development agreements for nearly 200 new locations in the state to date and believes that there's a potential to have as many as 1,000 restaurants in the state. Three non-traditional locations are already opened in the state (in a hotel, on a military base, and at Barstow Station)

The first traditional location is expected to open in 2015, which means you might see some more Dunkin' Donut reviews (that won't require me to travel outside of the state) next year.
