News: Entenmann's - New Red Velvet Donuts

In the lead up to National Donut Day on Friday, June 6, 2014, Entenmann's Bakery introduces new Red Velvet Donuts.

According to Entenmann's Master Baker Kathleen Robbins, the new donut "combines the familiar taste of the fan favorite Red Velvet with the flavor of cream cheese in the glaze that we know will certainly delight our consumers."

Rather than the standard relatively smooth ring donut, Entenmann's Red Velvet Donuts sports a segmented ring that looks like you can pull it apart to share or eat in single bites.

The new donuts come in 8-count boxes and are currently available whereever Entenmann's is sold.

National Donut Day was created by the Salvation Army to raise funds for those in need while celebrating the women volunteers who served donuts to American soldiers during World War I. In support of the Salvation Army, Entenmann's will donate $1 to the organization for every person who "likes" the Entenmann's Facebook page through June 30, 2014.
