Review: Taco Bell - Cinnabon Delights Coffee

Taco Bell's new Cinnabon Delights Coffee features a Cinnabon Delights-flavored creamer added to their regular Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee (iced or hot).

It's $1.79 for a 20-oz iced coffee, but I received this courtesy of Taco Bell.

I also got a free 4-pack of Cinnabon Delights because they're giving them free with any Cinnabon Delights Coffee purchase for the next four weeks.

Because winter seems to have passed us by here in Southern California, I went with the iced coffee. While it had the aroma of Cinnabon Delights, it just tasted like iced coffee with sugar and cream. I had trouble picking out any cinnamon or cream cheese notes. The lack was all the more glaring since I had the tasty donut-hole-like actual Cinnabon Delights to compare to the coffee.

Overall, Taco Bell's new Cinnabon Delights Coffee was just okay as a decent cup of a fairly sweet and creamy iced coffee, but a miss on the whole Cinnabon Delights flavor portion. I think they'd be better off just offering Mexican hot chocolate.
