Review: Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Greek Salad Chicken Flatbread

Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s Greek Salad Chicken Flatbread features grilled chicken, cucumber, red onion, tomato, carrots, hummus, romaine, and a special Greek feta vinaigrette, all served on a toasted flatbread.

I purchased one for $3.99.

Tropical Smoothie’s Mediterranean Flatbreads have returned and this time around, they've brought with them a new Greek Salad Chicken flavor.

While I’m personally not too used to hummus, I enjoyed the earthy, almost nutty flavor it brought to the dish. Its pasty consistency was a good balance to the feta vinaigrette that was practically dripping out of the flatbread once I started eating.

The vinaigrette flavor was dominant but the fresh cucumbers and onions served to change up the taste from bite to bite. I was disappointed with how soggy my tomatoes seemed to be but the presence of carrots added some crunch and helped with the overall consistency. The chicken and the tortilla were both serviceable, but it’s the special ingredients that really made this flatbread work.

Overall, Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s Greek Salad Chicken Flatbread was a satisfying change of pace from the average fast food menu item. The ingredients taste fresh and, in this case, combined for an interesting and pleasing dish.
