Frozen Friday: Bertolli - Tiramisu

Bertolli's Tiramisu frozen dessert features layers of mascarpone cheese filling and coffee-infused ladyfingers topped with a dusting of cocoa.

I paid $2.99 for a 5.64-oz pack, which comes with two individual-serving cups.

The mascarpone cheese filling was creamy, rich, and lightly sweet. Texture-wise, it's smooth but a little too liquid rather than fluffy. The cocoa on top added a light chocolaty flavor.

The ladyfingers were dense but soft and spongy. They weren't soaked through and soggy like some versions of tiramisu. Instead, they had a thin layer of coffee on top so that you get a more varied texture.

The coffee was bittersweet but more towards sweet with just a slight bitterness. There's also a hint of alcohol from Marsala wine.

Overall, Bertolli's Tiramisu was quite good. The flavor hit a nice combination of coffee and cream with an excellent contrast of textures.
