Review: Corner Bakery Cafe - Banana Walnut Pancakes

Corner Bakery's Banana Walnut Pancakes are available at select locations and feature buttermilk pancakes topped with sliced bananas, walnuts, and powdered sugar. A small cup of syrup comes on the side.

A small order of two pancakes was $3.59.

The buttermilk pancakes are soft and fluffy with a note of buttery goodness. I've had them before with just syrup and they're excellent.

The bananas and walnuts add some variety with just a light dusting of powdered sugar. There's enough flavor and sweetness that I didn't even bother with the syrup. The crunch of the walnuts makes for a nice contrast with the almost cloud-like pancakes.

Overall, Corner Bakery's Banana Walnut Pancakes were really good and relatively inexpensive for a breakfast (or lunch) that won't sit too heavily in your stomach.
