Review: Starbucks - S'mores Frappuccino

Starbucks' S'mores Frappuccino features a blend of graham cracker-flavored syrup, coffee, milk, and ice sitting on top of a layer of marshmallow-infused whipped cream and milk chocolate sauce and topped with the same marshmallow whipped cream plus crumbled graham crackers.

I bought a 12-oz Tall cup of it for $4.45.

There's a really enjoyable honeyed graham cracker flavor to the main portion of this but it didn't really taste like coffee at all. Texture-wise, it was, for the most part, fairly smooth with a few icy bits here and there.

The whipped cream and milk chocolate sauce on the bottom added thickness and textural variety to the drink that you can control by moving around the straw as you drink. It can be very sweet if you get a glop of the milk chocolate as you drink.

I'm not sure how infusing whipped cream with marshmallows really makes any difference... Maybe the whipped cream was a little puffier? The graham cracker crumble on top seemed mostly for visual effect as there's not enough to be impactful unless you just want to scoop it off the top and eat it.

Overall, I thought that Starbucks' S'more Frappuccino was one of the best Frappuccinos that they've come out with in a while and that it captured all the s'mores components and flavors very well. Basically, the syrup was pretty spot-on and the rest just comes together around it.
