Review: McDonald's - Oreo Frappe

McDonald's Oreo Frappe consists of their mocha frappe base blended with ice, Oreo cookies pieces, and cookies & creme syrup, topped with whipped cream and crushed Oreo wafers.

I bought a small 16-oz cup for $2.59.

There's a definite vanilla creme (or creamy vanilla) flavor to the Frappe, more so than there is an Oreo wafer (and chocolate) flavor. To go with the (very) sweet and creamy concoction, there's just a hint of bittersweet coffee flavor at the tail end.

Consistency-wise, the tiny granules of Oreos were soft but introduced a slight graininess to the otherwise smooth and icy drink.

Appearance-wise, the whipped cream and bits of Oreo in the Frappe looked pretty good but the sparse sprinkling of crushed Oreos on top felt a bit stingy.

Overall, McDonald's Oreo Frappe was pretty enjoyable and tasted a lot like a milder, more liquid version of a cookies and cream milkshake with just a bit of coffee to it.
