Review: Brownie Chewy Chips Ahoy Cookies

Brownie Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies are being offered as a limited edition brownie-chocolate chip cookie hybrid.

A 9.5-oz package ran me $2.99.

For the most part, you can consider these to be soft-baked, chocolate chocolate chips cookies. Where it mostly differs is the texture.

There's a softer, moist brownie-like feel to the cookie that reminded me of Oreo Cakesters but was somehow better. Additionally, there's chunks of semisweet chocolate rather than smaller chips, which lent a more fudgy effect.

The chocolate taste came mostly from the chunks but, given the relatively small size of the cookie, it's really nice. They've fine at room temperature, but toss one in the microwave for about 10 seconds and you might think you're eating a round disc of warm brownie.

Overall, Brownie Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies are really good, especially if you're looking for a very snackable form of brownies. They've also tried putting brownie inside of Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies but this worked out better by far.
