News: Dunkin' Donuts - New Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich

Each new year always brings with it a parade of healthy options as people start anew with resolutions to eat better. Dunkin' Donuts joins the march with a new Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich.

The sandwich is offered as part of their DDSMART menu in select markets and features a pepper-fried egg, turkey sausage patty and a slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese, sandwiched inside a toasted English muffin.

The DDSMART menu is Dunkin's better-for-you menu and each item must meet at least one of the following criteria: 25% less calories, sugar, fat, saturated fat, or sodium than comparable items, and/or it must contain ingredients or nutrients that are nutritionally beneficial (i.e. whole grains, fiber, and the like).

The Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich is only available for a limited time at participating Dunkin' Donuts locations in New England and the Mid-Atlantic U.S.

  2. Yeah, it's not on their online nutrition list (I don't know why). That's the first place I looked. I found it on the PDF of their nutrition catalog.
