Applebee's adds two new entrees to their "Unbelievably Great Tasting & Under 550 Calories" menu (yes, that's what they call it; they even trademarked it) with the new Zesty Roma Chicken & Shrimp and Lemon Parmesan Shrimp.

Zesty Roma Chicken & Shrimp features a grilled chicken breast, blackened shrimp, and parmesan cheese served on top of a hash of red potatoes, zucchini, red onions, Roma tomatoes, basil, and peppers with a zesty tomato sauce.

  1. Seems like the compensate for calories by added a huge amount of sodium.

  2. Holy crap that's a lot of sodium.

  3. You should see how much the ribs have...

  4. Man, I just looked at their nutrition info. More stuff with 3000mg+ of sodium than not. Plenty of items with over 5000mg even!
How the hell do people even eat that stuff??

  5. I think they just don't know or try not to think about it like when I review an item with 2000mg sodium =/
