Review: Jack in the Box - Criss-Cut Sweet Potato Fries

Jack in the Box's new, limited-time Criss-Cut Sweet Potato Fries are lightly seasoned and battered.

An order was $2.19.

Most of the fries I got were pretty big (except for the random regular French fry that managed to get in there). More importantly, they were crispy without being dry.

There was just a light coat of crispy batter and seasoning on each fry. Underneath was soft, moist sweet potato.

The seasoning appeared to be mostly salt and pepper and I found both to be rather light and complementary allowing the natural sweetness of the potatoes to come through.

Overall, Jack in the Box's Criss-Cut Sweet Potato Fries were perfectly fried and pretty tasty. They had an ideal crispy shell and a very lightly-seasoned sweet potato flavor.
