Around the World: Chocolate Banana Frappuccinos Coming to Starbucks Japan

The latest in Starbucks' seemingly never-ending rotation of limited-time flavors in Japan is a chocolate banana Frappuccino that they're calling the "Fresh Banana & Chocolate Cream Frappuccino." There will also be a caramel and banana version. Both are set to arrive on April 16, 2014.

The Fresh Banana & Chocolate Cream Frappuccino blends a whole banana with a chocolate Frappuccino, and tops it off with whipped cream, chocolate brownie crumbles, and chocolate sauce.

The Fresh Banana and Caramel Cream Frappuccino blends a whole banana with a caramel Frappuccino, and finishes with whipped cream, white chocolate brownie crumbles, and caramel sauce.

The new Frappuccinos will come with an extra-wide straw so customers can better enjoy the brownie crumbles and bits of bananas.

Prices start at 610 yen (~$5.91 US) for a 12-oz Tall.

In case you find yourself out that way, the new drinks/desserts will be available through May 11, 2014.
