News: Popeyes - New Tear'n Tenderloin Chicken

Popeyes' latest is new, limited-time Tear'n Tenderloin Chicken. The dish features two chicken breast tenderloins marinated in Louisiana seasoning and partially cut in half (for "easier dipping") before battered and deep-fried.

If that sounds familiar, Popeyes offered a similar concept a while back called Rip'n Chicken (which somewhat disturbingly, could look like a hand). The only real difference here is you get two smaller pieces rather than one big piece.

Tear'n Tenderloin Chicken is available through August 25, 2014 and is being promoted as part of a combo with a side of Cajun fries, a buttermilk biscuit, and Cajun Creamy Garlic Dipping Sauce for $3.99. The fries can usually be substituted for a different side by request, as can the sauce.

Popeyes also has a new Chocolate Fudge Pie for a limited time. The pie is of the deep-fried variety with the crispy, bubbly crust.
