Around the World: Starbucks Japan Takes the Strawberry & Creme Frappuccino a Step Further

Starbucks Japan's latest limited-time Frappuccino blows the standard Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino out of the water by throwing in strawberry whipped cream and slices of strawberries that require an extra-wide straw to drink up.

They call it the "Strawberry Delight Frappuccino" (I feel like it would be called the "Strawberry Extreme" here in the US) and it features a blend of strawberry sauce, milk, ice, strawberry slices, and strawberry whipped cream, mixed together and topped with whipped cream.

Prices start at 590 yen for a 12-oz Tall (~$5.82 US). In case any of you find yourself in Japan, the Strawberry Delight is available through August 31, 2014.

A standard Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino is made with milk, ice, and strawberry sauce, topped with whipped cream. The flavor is a nod to Strawberries and Cream, which are a popular eating tradition during Wimbledon (one of professional tennis' big "Grand Slam" tournaments) in England.
