Review: Blue Diamond - Honey Dijon Almonds

Blue Diamond Bold Honey Dijon Almonds are roasted almonds seasoned with the flavors of honey Dijon mustard.

A 6-ounce can goes for $3.99 at Walgreens and if you're too lazy to actually go there, they even offer it online.

I've had almonds where they weren't roasted so well, but Blue Diamond almonds are always done right and haven't disappointed me so far. It's always more expensive to buy them in small sizes though. I don't believe you can get the Bold Honey Dijon variety in anything but the 6-ounce can though.

The Honey Dijon flavor is pretty good and dead-on; not too mustard-y as to be spicy and not too sweet. They're very similar to the taste of honey mustard pretzels.

That being said, I'm not sure I like the flavor of honey Dijon together with almonds. I don't think they go together all that well. Still, these are worth a try if you think you might like them.

  1. California has an almond cartel in cahoots with the state government to artificially make almond prices far higher than they would be in the much ballyhooed "free market" that us mere commoners have to exist within but is a farce among those higher up the socio-economic hierarchy.

  2. My favorite flavor of Blue Diamond almonds! (With the exception of the pumpkin spice flavored ones, but those were just a limited edition.)
