Review: Starbucks - Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop

Starbucks Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop is a holiday-themed, portion-controlled dessert of peppermint chocolate cake (made with buttercream and candy cane pieces) dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with candy cane bits.

A single pop sells for $1.50.

Depending on how you eat one of these, it can last one big bite or several small ones.

The candy cane pieces imparted a good amount of minty flavor and a bit of a crunch without ever being too intrusive.

The white chocolate shell was of a pretty good thickness and was creamy and sweet, but not too sweet. It's pretty satisfying to crack the shell and get at what's underneath.

Inside was a wonderfully moist, rich, chocolaty brownie, with just a slight bit of candy cane flavor. It was really tasty and I savored each bite to make the most of it.

Overall, Starbucks Peppermint Brownies Cake Pop make a delicious choice for holiday dessert, especially if you don't want to overdo it after all the holiday overeating.
