News: Frito Lay - New Tostitos Cantina Tortilla Chips and Salsas

Frito Lay aims to give you the Mexican restaurant chip and salsa experience at home with their new Tostitos Cantina line.

Not sure how the new chips are different from Tostitos Restaurant Style chips, but the texture is described as "unique." The line includes two new tortilla chip varieties and two new salsas to pair with them.

Tostitos Cantina Thin & Crispy tortilla chips feature a crispy, light chip. Their suggested pairing is the smoky flavor of new Tostitos Cantina Chipotle Restaurant Style salsa.

Tostitos Cantina Traditional tortilla chips are described as "authentic and hearty." The suggested pairing here is Tostitos Cantina Roasted Garlic Thick & Chunky salsa.

The new Cantina line hits store shelves nationwide this month.

The salsas are available in 15.5-ounce jars for a suggested retail price of $3.29 each. Tostitos Cantina Thin & Crispy tortilla chips come in 9-oz. packages for a suggested retail price of $3.29 each. And, Tostitos Cantina Traditional tortilla chips come in two sizes: 12-oz. packages for a suggested price of $3.29 each and 20-oz. packages for $4.99 each.

Like the brand's unflavored Lay's potato chips, the new tortilla chips are made simply with corn, vegetable oil and salt.
