News: Baskin-Robbins - November 2013 Flavor of the Month

Baskin-Robbins is marching out the holiday flavors with Gingerbread Junction as November's Flavor of the Month and the return of their ice cream Turkey Cake.

Gingerbread Junction is a mix of gingerbread and vanilla ice cream with a cinnamon caramel ribbon. It draws its inspiration from a gingerbread cookie dunked in milk. Beside the standard cup or cone, you can also have it as part of a milkshake, whoopie pie, or cake.

They've also brought back the Turkey Cake this month. It's basically an ice cream cake with two sugar cones sticking out of it to resemble a roasted Thanksgiving turkey. The browning/glaze of the "turkey" is achieved by a caramel praline topping and it can be made with any of the chain's ice cream. The cake serves 12 to 16 people and carries a suggested retail price of $32.99

This time around, they're also offering mini versions of the Turkey Cake and offering them in individually for a suggested price of $3.29 or in a 4-pack for $12.99.

If turkey-looking cakes aren't your thing(?!), Baskin-Robbins is also featuring a Turtle Pie for the holidays. It's made with a chocolate pie crust filled with Pralines 'n Cream ice cream and finished with Caramel Praline Topping and pecans.

In the deals department, Baskin-Robbins continues to offer their "Buy One, Get One Free" Two-Scoop Sundae deal which runs on Wednesdays through the end of the year. For whatever reason, Baskin-Robbins locations in the New York metro area will offer the deal on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays and stores in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and most of Idaho will no be participating.
