Frozen Friday: Ben & Jerry's - Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream

Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream is a limited-time flavor featuring pumpkin cheesecake ice cream with a graham cracker swirl. It's a fall flavor (that took me a while to locate) but apparently still available in store while supplies last.

I bought a pint for $3.88.

Rather than the dense, thick texture of most Ben & Jerry's, Pumpkin Cheesecake has a soft, airier consistency to it that makes it easy to scoop right out of the freezer (it also makes it very easy to overeat...). I would guess it might be due to it counting cream cheese among its ingredients.

The flavor sports a nice pumpkin top note with a touch of spice and cream cheese tanginess. It really does taste like a fluffier, creamier version of pumpkin cheesecake.

The graham cracker swirl added a grainy, honeyed attribute whenever I came across it and felt much like a graham cracker pie crust.

Overall, since I like pumpkin cheesecake, Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream is right up my alley. With its extra soft, easy-to-spoon texture, I fear its not going to last very long in my freezer...
