  2. Is it necessary to differentiate ones' offerings to such an extreme extent?

Are one's "normal toppings that are time-tested and likely preferable by the majority of pizza buyers/eaters so untasty that these off-the-wall likely minimally ordered pizza-types required to remain a viable pizza joint?

Am I totally off base and the Papa John's marketing folks and corporate higher-ups following an intelligent path?

If I was a head honcho I would do all possible to optimize my proven sellers; make them THE pizza to grab that conveys the maximum pleasurable, pleasing yumminess.

I would also have researchers poking through the food review sites.

I have left ample mentions across the Web highly recommending crumbled linguicia as a topping and encouraging folks travelling who notice it in an area new to them to order it.

Most folks I know trying it for the first time were delighted and ordered frequently thereafter in the areas where available.

    Oh well.

Just one Disgruntled Old Coot's Opinion.
