News: Burger King Value Menu Tweaks

Not one to be left behind, it looks like Burger King is also making some changes to their value menu (of course BK's value menu starts at $1 and goes up from there).

According the Burger King website, the current national value menu items are: the Whopper Jr., Spicy Chick'N Crisp Sandwich, new Classic Chick'N Crisp SandwichChicken Tenders, French Fries, Onion Rings, Garden Salad, and Dutch Apple Pie. There are additional items that vary per region.

New additions include Iced Coffee, Sundaes, the BK Single Stacker, Icee, Soft Serve Cone, and a Chicken Wrap thing that isn't currently on the BK menu. According to Burger Business, the wrap is the Crispy Chicken Wrap and will feature new Burger King Chicken Strips. The Crispy Chicken Wrap is currently only available in select markets but I'd expect a national rollout is on the way.

  1. I encourage the clamoring crowd to follow the link for a "reminder review" of the Whopper Jr.

What the cluck; for a buck it looks like a decent burger. Ample veggies atop the patty to offer some nutrients and roughage to assist in scouring your intestines clean and the comment mentions that more condiments can be requested at no extra charge.

My experience is that if asked in a nice, friendly manner while mentioning one's extreme poverty  during the early evening when high-school kids are often working (for some reason this works best at the drive-in window face-to-face after giving the order at the speaker interface that immense amounts of condiments can be added to provide maximum nutrition.

It is also a fine time to state that one is a regular cheap burger buyer and deserving of a free small fry.

I admit my days (years, actually) of fast-food imbibing are over BUT...

It was surprising how often the free fries request resulted in receiving them and the freebies was often a LARGE order with the container overflowing with greasy goodness.

    Ask and ye shall receive!!!

    Power to the people!!!!

    Calories for the crowd!!!
