Review: Lay's Classic BLT Potato Chips

Lay's Classic BLT Potato Chips feature the familiar taste and crunch of Lay's potato chips with the flavor of a classic BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato) sandwich.

A 10-ounce bag carries a suggested retail price of $4.29.

The potato part is the same familiar bit: thin, crunchy, and tasty. But, does it taste like a BLT?!

Bacon, lettuce, tomatos, and even mayo, it's all there. Well, I'm not that sure about the lettuce... what does iceberg lettuce taste like? Doesn't it taste like nothing? Regardless, Lay's BLT chips are sprinkled with little green flecks of it. I'm sure people with finer palates than mine can pick it out.

The overall effect is kinda weird, but, I have to admit, it tastes like a BLT. It's actually a nice flavor, but at the same time, not one I would eat a lot of at one sitting.

In sum, by some culinary sorcery, Lay's Classic BLT Potato Chips taste like BLT potato chips and are pretty good.
