Review: Jack in the Box - Brownie Bites

Jack in the Box Brownie Bites are limited-time snackable fudge brownies that come five to an order.

An order costs $1.

These came just slightly warm. They were pretty moist and cake-like, but I can see these becoming dry depending on how long they've been allowed to sit. They were also a bit crumbly. Fortunately, you can just pop them in your mouth to avoid dropping crumbs.

The chocolate flavor wasn't rich or intense, but was still decent. Brownie Bites are just plain brownies; no extras like frosting or nuts here.

For a buck, I'm not going to complain much. Jack in the Box's Brownie Bites are okay if you feel like eating fairly average brownies as you pass through Jack's drive-thru and I think that's kinda the point.

  1. I had some of these and they were served cold. But still pretty moist. I think they're pretty dense so don't really dry out.

  2. These things were just too plain for my tastes. I wish they had some kind of extra kick to them, preferably something crunchy like nuts. I'll stick with their cookies if I need a dessert on the cheap.
