Jack in the Box Switches in New Panko Onion Rings

Jack in the Box adds new Panko Onion Rings to permanently replace their previous onion rings.

According to the chain, they looked into "multiple onion ring cuts, sizes, flavors, textures, batters, and breading options" before selecting the new rings, which are meant to be casual dining quality.

Jack in the Box has been looking to improve the quality of their food recently such as with the recent preperation and ingredients changes that are showcased in the new Double Jack.

In general, panko (Japanese-style breadcrumbs) are lighter, airier, and crisper than standard breadcrumbs. The change is meant to add more flavor and texture, while differentiating their rings from similar competitor options.
