McDonald's Trying New Coffee Flavors Including Coconut and Irish Cream

McDonald's is trying a few new flavored syrups for their coffee with a test of "McCafe Flavor Shots."

The flavors can be added to both drip-brewed coffee and espresso-based drinks and include unsweetened and sugar-free varieties that add 0 to 10 calories as well as sweetened varieties that can tack on anywhere from 70 to 150 calories. Up to three flavors can be added.

The unsweetened and sugar-free Flavor Shots include French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Caramel, Chocolate, Coconut, Blueberry, Cinnamon, Irish Creme, and Raspberry.

Sweetened flavors include the chain's regular line up of French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel.

Flavor Shots have been spotted in Maine, the Albany area of New York, Connecticut, and western Massachusetts.
