Little Caesars Tests New Impossible Supreme Pizza Featuring Exclusive Impossible Sausage

Little Caesars jumps on the Impossible Foods bandwagon with a test of new, plant-based Impossible Sausage featured on the new Impossible Supreme Pizza.

Impossible Sausage, which is not currently sold in stores and is not available at other restaurants, is being tested exclusively at 58 Little Caesars in three markets: Yakima, Washington; Fort Myers-Naples, Florida; and Albuquerque-Santa Fe, New Mexico. It has been custom-seasoned for Little Caesars and is meant to taste, smell, and feel the same as the regular sausage used on their pizzas. Impossible Sausage is the first new product from Impossible Foods since the launch of the Impossible Burger in 2016.

The Impossible Supreme Pizza consists of a large pizza topped with the aforementioned sausage along with mushrooms, green bell peppers, and caramelized onions. The price on the new pizza is $12, which is fairly comparable to the chain's Ultimate Supreme Pizza, which comes topped with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers and costs $11.Where it's available, the Impossible Supreme Pizza is available Hot-N-Ready from 4 to 8 PM and can be also be ordered normally all day.

Impossible Sausage has 0mg cholesterol, 1.5g saturated fat, 17g total fat, 17g protein and 270 calories in a quarter-pound serving versus 70mg cholesterol, 12g saturated fat, 29g total fat, 14g protein and 340 calories for a quarter-pound of your average beef sausage.
