Church's Chicken Brings Back Bourbon Black Pepper Smokehouse Chicken

Church's Chicken brings back Bourbon Black Pepper Smokehouse Chicken for a limited time this summer.

First introduced last year, the menu item features half a chicken marinated in a savory, smoky seasoning and then deep-fried without batter or breading. After it's cooked, it's then glazed with a "sweet-yet-mellow" sauce featuring a hint of bourbon and topped with fresh-cracked black pepper. You can also get it without the Bourbon Black Pepper sauce.

You can get the half chicken along with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy as well as a Honey Butter Biscuit for $5.

Church's also adds a new Peach Cobbler to the menu for a limited time this summer. The dessert takes the chain's signature Honey-Butter Biscuits and tops them with warm, spiced, diced peaches.

Both items can be found at participating Church's locations nationwide, while supplies last, through August 21, 2019.
