New Signature Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich Appears on Popeyes Website

Popeyes might be testing or launching another flavor of their signature Chicken Sandwich as the new Bacon & Cheese Signature Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich has appeared on the Popeyes website. I haven't been able to find a location that carries the sandwich, however.

The new chicken sandwich features a crispy-fried chicken breast filet served with barrel-cured pickle slices, Havarti cheese, bacon, and new signature hot sauce, on a toasted bun.

According to the Popeyes website, the new hot sauce features "a nice and spicy kick with a dash of southern sweetness." It sounds a bit like Popeyes' take on a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich.

Bacon and Havarti are already offered on Popeyes' Chicken Sandwich so the only new ingredient here is the signature hot sauce.
