Carl's Jr.'s and Hardee's New Breakfast Sandwich Comes on an Auntie Anne's Pretzel Roll

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's partnered up with Auntie Anne's for the new Pretzel Breakfast Sandwich, featuring a sausage patty, egg, and American and Swiss cheeses on an Auntie Anne's soft pretzel roll.

The Pretzel Breakfast can be found at participating locations starting at $2.99 (may vary). It can also be ordered as part of a combo along with hash browns and a drink starting at $4.69.

This isn't the first time Auntie Anne's has brought their pretzel expertise to a fast food chain. Back in 2014, they joined forces with Arby's for Cheddar Pretzel Nuggets. More recently, their pretzel rolls have become a regular fixture on the Schlotzsky's menu (which probably didn't take much finagling as both brands are owned by Focus Brands).

The chains' upcoming TV spot for the new sandwich plays on the popularity of cart-sold soft pretzels in NYC:
