It features a double portion of thick-cut, marinated steak with pepper jack cheese folded inside a flour tortilla and then pressed/grilled. The Cantina Double Steak Quesadilla also comes with tortilla chips on the side as well as sour cream and new fire-roasted tomato Cantina salsa for dipping.
The price tag comes out to $4.99, which is in the same range as what a Cantina Bowl or Burrito costs.
The new quesadilla is not all that different from Taco Bell's regular steak or chicken quesadillas, which come filled with a three-cheese blend and creamy jalapeno sauce rather than pepper jack cheese.
