Review: Jack in the Box - Original Iced Coffee

Jack in the Box recently introduced new Iced Coffee in Mocha and Original flavors and I recently tried the Original version. It's basically their Premium Roast Coffee with sweetened cream over ice.

A 16-ounce "regular" cup cost me $1.99.

Compared to offering at other chains like Wendy's and McDonald's, Jack in the Box's Iced Coffee is creamier and somewhere in between the two in terms of sweetness.

In fact, it's super creamy as far as iced coffee goes and might be too creamy. In terms of sweetness, it hits the right amount for me and it delivers a smooth coffee finish.

Overall, I liked Jack in the Box's Original Iced Coffee quite a bit for its balanced, measured sweetness, and pleasant coffee flavor. It's probably the best iced coffee I've had from a fast food joint.

  1. I tried their previous Kona Coffee before as well and this was much better... although it could just be the cream talking. It's seriously creamy.

  2. I never tried the Kona coffee, the one I had was just a regular vanilla iced coffee. I remember not liking it because it had almost no sweetness to it, especially compared to McDonald's iced coffee which is what I usually drank at the time. But this was years ago (like maybe four or five years ago).

  3. Hm, I don't know if you'll like the new one though. It was really creamy but very lightly sweetened. I'm not sure I tried Jack's coffee as far as five years ago.
