News: P.F. Chang's - 2013 Fall Menu

P.F. Chang's 2013 fall menu looks to capture the flavor of autumn with seasonal ingredients like kale, quinoa, Brussel sprouts, butternut squash, and zucchini.

Savory entrees and appetizers on the menu include:

- Crispy Korean Chicken Wings - served "lollipop-style" (with the bone as the lollipop stick) with a house-made sweet red chili sauce and sprinkled with scallions and sesame seeds. They're priced at $10.95 for an order.

- Shanghai Waldorf Salad - made with fresh-chopped kale, endive, radicchio, apples, grapes, celery, grape tomatoes, and candied walnust tossed in a light miso-lime vinaigrette. It carries a price of $8.95 with the option to add chicken for an additional $1.95.

- Miso Chicken - sliced chicken breast, baby carrots, Asian mushrooms, bok choy, candied walnuts, and corn sauteed in a work with a savory miso-tamarind sauce and topped with fresh cilantro. It's priced at $13.95.

- Citrus Mustard Prawns - prawns, baby carrots, black beans, ginger, Fresno peppers, and zucchini ribbons wok-toassed with a citrus mustard sauce and topped with fresh cilantro. An order goes for $17.95.

- Harvest Vegetable Quinoa "Fried Rice" (because it uses quinoa instead of rice) - the dish features toasted red quinoa with spice butter squash, Brussels sprouts, corn, snap peas, carrots, zucchini, and diced green apples topped with a sunny-side egg. It can be prepared gluten-free by request and is priced at $11.95.

- Vietnamese Noodles with Steak & Shrimp - wok-tossed rice noodles, marinated shrimp, flank steak, Chinese broccoli, carrots, and bean sprouts flavored with hoisin, sriracha, cinnamon, and coriander and topped with fresh cilantro. It carries a price tag of $12.95.

- For dessert, the fall menu features:

- Pumpkin Wontons - crispy wontons filled with savory pumpkin and cream cheese dusted with powdered sugar and served with a vanilla and pumpkin sauce, candied walnuts, and fresh mint.

- Caramel Apple Wontons - crispy wontons filled with apples, caramel, and cream cheese dusted with powdered sugar and served with a cinnamon and caramel sauce and fresh mint.

The dessert wontons are available in orders of two or four at $3.25 and $5.95 respectively.

There's also a trio of new fall cocktails:

- Apple Cinnamon Martini - made with Absolut Orient Apple Vodka and Tuaca Liqueur, apple juice, lemon juice, and a bit of cinnamon. It goes for $9.

- Ginger Jalapeno Mule - made with Tanteo Jalapeno Tequila, ginger, lime juice, and Thai Basil leaves. It's priced at $10.
- Rum Chata - Cream Liqueur poured over an ice sphere garnished with a cinnamon stick, star anise, and an orange peel. It sells for $9.
