It goes for $5 and comes with orange chantilly cream (sweetened whipped cream) on top and garnished with a piece of cashew brittle made with Stone Brewing Co.'s IPA .
The cheesecake itself was like a tasty pumpkin pie with a bit of cheesecake tartness and exhibited a fluffy but rich consistency rather than a dense, heavy one (which could be good or bad depending on your preference).
There's a delicious, thick, crumbly graham (I think) crust on the bottom.
The orange whipped cream is pretty interesting as the orange adds a tangy zing to the traditional pumpkin pie topper.
The brittle is a good-sized, thick piece of candy that could be a dessert unto itself. There's plenty of cashew pieces and the definite hoppy taste of beer. I didn't feel it paired that well with the cheesecake, but didn't mind what felt like two dessert rather than one.
Overall, Grill 'Em All's NY Style Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake took a traditional, seasonal dessert and gave it enough tweaks to set it apart and delivered taste in expert fashion.
