Burger King Reveals New Real Meals as a Play on the Happy Meal

Burger King takes a poke at McDonald's Happy Meal and highlights mental health with the introduction of new Real Meals, which are actually meal boxes that each feature a different mood.

The moods covered by the Real Meal boxes include: Pissed, Blue, Salty, YAAAS (which is arguably happy), and DGAF. Each features a different facial (or rather, mouth) expression and a different color.

You can only get a limited-edition box when you buy a Whopper meal, which includes a Whopper, fries, and a drink at the following select BK restaurants:

- 3301 Fourth Avenue South, Seattle, Washington, 98134
- 474 7th Avenue, New York, New York, 10018
- 4918 West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90027
- Farm-to-Market 969, Austin, Texas, 78724
- 1100-5th Street, Miami Beach, Florida, 33139

The idea is you pick the box that matches the way you feel at the moment. The tagline for the campaign is "Feel Your Way," which is a riff on Burger King's "Have It Your Way" slogan. You can see the concept in action below:

The jingle from the video is a slightly different take on Burger King's "Have It Your Way" song from the '70s (apparently, they also came up with a soul version back then).
