Review: Carl's Jr. - Sweet Potato Fries

Carl's Jr. Sweet Potato Fries are a new addition to the menu this summer so I popped over to my local Carl's Jr. for a try.

A small order set me back $2.29.

The fries are cut in skinny fashion and very lightly salted.

As I picked one up, I immediately noticed a thin, almost flaky, crispness to it. They seem to be very lightly battered to achieve that crust. Biting into it yielded a slight crunch and a moist, sweet center. It was pretty satisfying and I had to stop myself from scarfing it down. I could really taste the sweet potato in every fry.

Even when the fries had cooled, they still retained that all-important crispiness. Consider me very impressed by Carl's Jr.'s Sweet Potato Fries.
