News: Subway - January 2014 Featured $5 Footlong

Subway's $5 Featured Footlong to kick off 2014 this month is any regular sub. They're doing one of their "any" sub promotions and since it's January, they're calling it "JanuANY."

Subway's "Regular" subs are any subs except those marked "Supreme" or "Premium" on the menu, which may vary locally. As far as the national menu goes, the excluded subs are the Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt, Roast Beef, Steak & Cheese, and The Big Philly Cheesesteak (If your local Subway offers pastrami or the like, that is also excluded).

Subway has also introduced new, limited-time Jalapeno Cheese bread this month. It's their standard Italian but topped with shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar, jalapenos, and southwestern spices before baking. It's actually been offered in California for a while now, but without the seasoning. Apparently, they're not bothering to ship the seasoning to California as we (California) won't be getting the seasoning for the limited-time offer either.

The $3 Custom Breakfast Combo continues to be offered this month. The combo includes a choice of a Black Forest Ham, Egg & Cheese, or Bacon, Egg & Cheese breakfast sub and a 21-ounce fountain drink or coffee for $3. The deal is only available during breakfast hours, which generally run until 11 am at most Subway stores.
