Review: Carl's Jr. - Cinnamon Pull-Aparts

Carl's Jr.'s new Cinnamon Pull-Aparts feature their biscuit dough rolled into eight pieces with cinnamon sugar, baked and drizzled with sweet icing.

I bought two for $1.79 (it's 99 cents if you only get one; no, I did not eat them both).

These are the same size as Carl's Jr.'s regular biscuits, which cost about the same.

There's actually a bit of cinnamon mixed into the dough, which makes for a good amount of cinnamon flavor considering the cinnamon sugar on top of the dessert as well.

Their biscuit dough bakes up fairly firm and dense. The Pull-Apart was only lukewarm, but microwaves pretty well if you set it for a few seconds.

I liked that it wasn't as overly-sweet as some cinnamon rolls. There's actually a bit of saltiness to it from the biscuit dough and it feels like a biscuit-monkey bread hybrid.

Overall, Carl's Jr.'s Cinnamon Pull-Aparts were pretty nice and fairly cheap. In the fast food breakfast space, it's only major analog is a Cinnamon Melt from McDonald's. The Pull-Aparts are more novel, less sweet, and cost less in comparison (but are only available during breakfast hours). I like Carl's Jr.'s Strawberry Biscuit better though.
