The new trio consists of the Shaken Caramel Custard & Espresso (AKA an iced Caramel Flan Latte), the Pudding & Caramel Frappuccino (AKA a Caramel Flan Frappuccino), and the Bitter Caramel Macchiato.
The Shaken Caramel Custard & Espresso features espresso shaken to a frothy head with ice and caramel milk plus a pour of custard sauce to give the drink a yellow-and-brown marbled look.
The Pudding & Caramel Frappuccino mixes your standard Coffee Frappuccino and mixes it with slightly sweet custard pudding and bittersweet caramel sauce. It comes with an extra-wide straw so you can get at the good stuff.
The Bitter Caramel Macchiato is the most mundane of the three and features espresso poured over steamed milk with a bitter caramel sauce drawn in a grid pattern on top.
Prices for a Tall 12-oz drink is 450 yen (~$4.32 US) for the Shaken Caramel Custard & Espresso and the Bitter Caramel Macchiato, and 540 yen (~$5.19 US) for the Pudding & Caramel Frappuccino.
Some of you might remember that Starbucks offered a Caramel Flan Latte earlier this year, but like their recent Strawberry & Creme Frappuccino, Japan has one-upped us yet again.
