The new Cheese Top Burger at KFC Philippines is a cheese-topped bun with an Original Recipe chicken patty and garlic parmesan dressing inside. The cheese is outside the bun.
On one hand, it's cheap at 50 pesos (roughly $1.18). But on the other hand, why?! The whole point of the bun is to keep the meat and cheese away from your fingers and your fingers relatively clean. If you put the cheese on top, it defeats the point of the bun! Then again, this is the same company that got rid of the bun with the Double Down so I guess, in a way, it shouldn't be that much of a surprise.
