The move follows the recent introduction of McDonald's Egg White Delight option. It should be noted that Sonic serves breakfast all day while McDonald's does not (at least not yet).
Choosing the egg white option reduces the calories (by up to 60 calories) and cholesterol content of a breakfast item, but also forgoes the rich nutrients found in the egg yolk.
In addition to the new breakfast choice, Sonic is also expanding their coffee options with five new flavors: Chocolate, Caramel, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and English Toffee.
