They're also continuing the theme with the new Banana Crunch McFlurry and Banana Crunch Sundae.
The Banana Crunch McFlurry features a blend of vanilla soft serve, banana-flavored syrup, Cadbury Choc Dip, and Kellogg's Coco Pops (AKA Cocoa Krispies here in the US), while the Banana Crunch Sundae is a portion of vanilla soft serve topped with banana-flavored syrup and Kellogg's Coco Pops.
Here in Hawaii we only have the fried. Inaddition to apple we have Haupia and Taro. I've never even had a baked one.
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah. Hawaii is the last bastion of fried McDonald's pies in the US.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, why do so many companies avoid having Banana products in the US Market?
ReplyDeleteBanana products are like crack to me, and usually win me over compared to more mainline flavors.
Banana Fanta (f'ing awesome, not in the US), Banana Nesquick, rarely appears here anymore, and now MCD won't even test market these items. 7/11 seems to have nailed it with their Banana Slurpee, it has quite the cult following.
Chicago would be more than willing to act as a guinea pig for these items ;-)
And I like the concept of the pie, someone should take it and port it to a soda pop flavor. Banana with a tiny hint of cinnamon under it, I would give it a go.
