Review: Dairy Queen - Tripleberry Brownie Blizzard

Dairy Queen's Tripleberry Brownie Blizzard is August's Blizzard of the Month and features vanilla soft serve with chocolate chunks, chewy brownie pieces, and a Tripleberry fruit mix of strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry puree.

A Mini cup is regularly $1.99 to $2.49 at most locations, but I picked one up for a dollar extra with a $5 Buck Lunch.

The Tripleberry Brownie Blizzard is fairly thick, even for soft serve, and melted pretty slowly. The soft serve tasted mostly of a pleasant if generic berry flavor with a bit of creamy vanilla.

My chocolate chunks appeared to be MIA, so there were only brownie pieces in my Blizzard. The brownie pieces weren't the freshest and were hardened a bit by the cold, but they were fudgy with a nice chewiness after the initial, somewhat hard crust.

Overall, Dairy Queen's Tripleberry Brownie Blizzard was fairly enjoyable but not particularly exciting. Try it if you enjoy berry-flavored soft serve with a touch of chocolate.
