Subway joins the barbecue crowd this summer by offering the new, limited-time Applewood Pulled Pork sub. The sandwich features slow-cooked pulled pork covered in a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce, along with your choice of bread, cheese, veggies, and sauce(s).

The Applewood Pulled Pork falls under the 'premium sub' category at my local Subway, which pegs its price at $6.95 for a footlong.

This isn't the first time Subway has tried their hand at a barbecue-themed sub. They've previously offered a Pulled Pork sub as well as a Smokehouse Chicken sub.
