News: Hardee's - Texas Toast Breakfast Sandwiches Return

Texas Toast Breakfast Sandwiches are back at Hardee's. The sandwiches feature two buttery, grilled slices of Texas toast with egg, American cheese, and a choice of sausage, bacon or ham.

Texas Toast Breakfast Sandwiches are available at participating Hardee’s locations for $2.49 each and $4.69 in a small combo (price may vary).
Texas Toast Breakfast Sandwiches were first introduced in 2009 and was followed by the Texas Toast Bacon Cheeseburger before both were eventually discontinued.

Hardee's also offers Made from Scratch Biscuits and croissants as other breakfast sandwich options.

  1. Does It's cousin Carl's Jr. intend on selling it also?

  2. I don't believe so. Texas Toast hasn't ever been offered by Carl's Jr. thus far.

  3. The sausage/egg/cheese Texas Toast is my favorite breakfast sandwich. A grilled cheese stuffed with scrambled egg and sausage--how can you not love it? Glad these are back on the menu. Just a note, though, sometimes they're inconsistent in their grilling of the Texas Toast. I've had to take a sandwich back a few different times because it looked like they pulled the bread straight from the bag and forgot to toast it. Hardees sausage is good as well.

  4. I tried your new Texas Toaster (with sausage) and it was not all that great.
    You
    used regular bread, not real Texas sliced bread; used one small
    scrambled egg; the sausage patty was obviously store bought (frozen);
    Cheese slice (1) was cheap artificial kind. I recall in years past the
    same breakfast sandwich was 3 times the size and everything on it was
    not a cheap facsimile. Sonic (depending on which one you go to) still
    has the better Texas Toaster (even though most places don't use Texas
    sliced bread either).

  5. I think you're trying to reach Hardee's. I'm not affiliated with them.

  6. No way only 14 g carbs. One slice of bread is 14 g. I calculated 30 g carbs before I googled and that still wasn't enough.
